Yeah mine sometimes does it if I move the mouse by accident when turning it on.

Just been checking my double click setting on control panel and realised that I can turn the keyboard click off. So I'll see if this has any effect on this bug.

Okay, so assuming the bleep can't malfunction if it's deactivated, so I turned it off in control panel on my gaming/demo watching SD card.
All that's left is to do the same on my music setup.

For this I'm using EmuTos boosted with NVDI5.

There doesn't seem to be a function to turn off the keuboard bleep in EmuTos (It's not the Sound Effects button. Tried it.)

So I tried using control panel, which bricks the system. The desktop icons never appear.

Tried Xcontrol and cops which, while not bricking the system don't work. One only has a bell box which does nothing, and the other only seems to have an audio switch which isn't applicable to my machine.

Is there a way to turn off the keyboard bleeps when using EmuTos?

This is the last thing I need to do. :?

This is a documented bug in CONTROL.ACC: https://github.com/emutos/emutos/blob/m ... e.txt#L166

Switching off the key clicks with XCONTROL.ACC (and GENERAL.CPX) works as expected for me under EmuTOS:

Obviously, merely switching off the sound (key clicks) does not resolve your issue of a key being stuck.

Hi. Thanks. I did that in xcontrol, but when I reset the system the keyboard click returned.

I'm obviously missing something. Maybe my file locations?

I'm convinced it isn't a stuck key.

Did you click on "Save" in the CPX? Was the CPX perhaps write protected? Did you make sure that XCONTROL.ACC and GENERAL.CPX were loaded again after reset?

Do I have to physically load them even with XCONTROL.ACC in the route directory?
