Yeah but need the odd "long term" seats for my girlfriend etc :P Though she probably end up sat in the van bored after a bit anyway.

I guess really any stuff I take or anyone else takes, might have to be a "car boot" type thing for swaps/sales if get pushed for space.

Oh well, looks like I will definitely be bringing the old audio gear then, just in case there is nothing.

I will dig out a few microphones too, I guess.

At this moment in time, there is not any problem space wise. There is room for tons of seats behind the tables too.

I am quite confident we can handle another 3-4 tables without much problem (Im bringing extra tables). However, I do need to know ASAP of any changes, otherwise, we have to improvise on the day. No real biggie either way really.

Not sure if its Dawns thing, but MrsBomberMillzy and Meg soon got bored. They brought some crochet to do and were happy doing that and chatting in the kitchen, away from all the noise IIRC. :)

Cool.

I wonder if we should have a group photo of the regulars at least on the day ? We used to do one for the Tesla coil events of everyone who went (or was there at the time the image was taken  )

Great idea.

On that note...

Maybe also get a video of you battering someone with a chair so we can use it as a forum animated GIF?

exxos wrote: 02 Oct 2023 11:16 Really I need to get going as it going dark, as got a bit of a drive back.
@exxos it's looking like almost 4 hours each way for me (without traffic or roadworks)...so my departure time may depend on when I'm told it's time to leave by my better half...

EDIT-and that isn't me volunteering myself to be chair-whacked!

@mrbombermillzy Still hoping to get there for some of the day (plus my wife, not sure yet about my daughter...).
Might have some general retro stuff for sale/offers/swaps as well as a few ST boards & maybe a floppy drive or two (probably first refusal to @exxos for the latter ST stuff).
Hoping to compile a rough list on Saturday so will see from there.

If anyone has some stuff for my A500 (which still needs fixing) - memory expansion, workbench discs etc (or images for a Gotek) then I might be interested in those...

Yes, I regularly drive down to our site at Mansfield & that is 2 hours on a good run...
Hence why I didn't go to the last one.

I will reserve you half a table until I hear otherwise. :)

Im sure there will be plenty of Amiga stuff there.

Hopefully you can work something out that keeps everyone (in the family) happy and its not too much trouble with the journey.
