I'm sure we can squash onto a single table anyway.

I'm not sure what time I will get there, it depends on how long it takes me to wake up a bit in the morning  Will try and get there for about 12.. But could really be a hour either way.

I'll post on the forum when I'm setting off anyway. Interesting to see how long it actually takes me to get there  I'll be setting off from my girlfriends, so that will save me about 40mins drive for a start.

Sure, so note to myself, @exxos near the stage. :)
A dark corner near the stage  I'll try and find my Atari neon sign as well.

No big deal, only taking the 2600 to play some Phoenix  I'll probably get bored after half an hour anyway and put it all back in the box for another 10 years

There is some other games I seem to have acquired and I have no idea what they are. If you are duplicates but I'm just bringing the lot in case some don't work.
Also, if we're both recording the presentation hopefully we can get a decent representation of things between us.
Yeah. There is always hope

If there is going to be a projector I don't know how the camera will react to the brighter projector screen. So it could end up being totally whited out or something. Have to figure that out on the day I guess.

So will one 6ft x 2 ft 6" table do the trick for you?
How wide is an ST/TT? Methinks you *may* be able to squeeze 3 machines into 6ft side by side, without any operating space. Better assuming two machines per table though.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

So here is a layout for the hall:

By my calculations, we can have 5 tables each length wise side of the hall (accounting for not blocking the fire exits).

There should also be room for 4 on each width wise side, although perhaps 4 on the toilet rooms end and perhaps one on the chair room end of the stage?

That accounts for 15 tables.

If we have any more unexpected exhibitor guests, then we can start using the middle of the hall floor (and bringing our own tables, it seems, as only 15 are available!) I might put a few small tables in the car just in case.

So...

I only have an Amiga/PC keyboard handy, but they are pretty much the standard for the longer/larger machines.

The full keyboard is 18.5 inches. If we allow 5.5 inches for side loading floppies/carts/etc, that takes us to exactly 24 inches or 2ft. Thats 3 machines per table. Its not masses of space, but it should just about suffice.

@stephen_usher If you feel that you wont have enough room, then I can offer another table perhaps?

Just let me know. :)

Looks very small going by that image ?

Does not look like you can even go to "end to end" either because of the toilets and the kitchen area etc. might be a bit more limiting than we think ?

Where are the tables actually coming from anyway ?! Looks like there are chairs there at least ?

@exxos Well, Ive accounted for the 2 fire exits and there will be a table length left one side for entry to toilets on that end of the hall.

The stage side only has 1 table allocated to it, so there should be plenty of room that side.

The hall states that it has 15 tables available.

EDIT: I must admit, that image looks very 'cramped'. But the dimensions work out ok.
