I don't know if this is unique to my setup but here goes
I have a TF1260 (latest firmware) with a cooler and fan running a Rev 5 68060.
I have 3.2.2 roms with ehide baked in. (Version 1.1).
If i boot from a CF card on the motherboard ide, I can happily overclock the 68060 at 67 mhz (well 66.5 or whatever it is).
If i put the same card on the ehide then 67 crashes immediately.
I have tried loading ehide 1.2 using loadmodule which works but doesn't affect the issue.
Is this normal?

Is your 1260 updated to the latest firmware ("68090")? The ehide did not work at overclock speeds on early firmwares, but this was fixed in later ones.

Yep, 68090 firmware
My other TF1260 is also on the 68090 firmware and is a Rev 6 and runs on the ehide at 94 and 100. This is why I was surprised it made a difference on this one.
Edit: also the ehide works fine in any case, it's the cpu that crashes when selecting the overclock if booted from the ehide (but all works fine at 62 or lower)

Just to say I have tried a few rev 5 060s on TF1260 and could never get one to reliably overclock beyond 65mhz, I think it is just a fact of life that the rev 6 is the only one that will give you higher clock rates

Oh I am aware of the limitations of the Rev 5, just wondered if it was normal that this was affected by whether or not the ehide was used in preference to the motherboard ide.
I had intended to use the ehide to get faster HD access, but this creates some fitting issues with getting the hd activity signal to the solas board given the cooler on the TF1260 blocks the LED adapter I was going to use etc, and although the overclock difference is not a big thing really, it probably tips that part of the project into the 'cant be bothered' pile. 2mb/s on the motherboard ide seems fine in daily use and 67 mhz overclock will probably do for me, given that then the solas etc all works without all this extra hassle.
