Overclocking and TF1260 EHIDE

Post by Lamaman1971 »

Hi Folks,

I have a Rev 4 LC 68060 and have tried a modest overclock - 50Mhz - ~60Mhz and find that my Amiga locks up. I am using the TF IDE and booting from custom kickstarts - I have this niggle in the back of my tiny brain that I read somewhere that use of the TF IDE prohibited overclocks? Is this still the case?

I have a Rev 5 that will overclock to 66mhz, but when using EHIDE.device it will lock up at this speed.
