I've been building a few TF1260 boards to sell with some rev 6 CPUs. In fact they were factory built and I just needed to solder on the cpu socket, ide header and connection socket.
I have a couple that I've not been able to diagnose in several hours (just replacing CPLDs + other chips, checking joints under microscope).
Is anyone interested in both for a project to look into properly?
Two boards:
board a) Does not boot at all, RAM CPLD gets hot. I replaced both CPLDs and ram on this board, I also repaired some capacitors & one broken trace.
board b) Boots up fine, but no ram seen. I replaced ALL chips on this board.
On both boards the CPLDs appear on JTAG and program/verify ok.
Looking for 40CHF each (or 70CHF total for both) + 20CHF worldwide shipping. This includes both boards and I can also include 3 spare desoldered CPLDs, ram chips and bus drivers (on request).
I can also include an 68LC060 CPU (or two) at an extra 40 CHF each (special price for with these boards).

If noone else wants them I'd be interested. Pics if you've got 'em?

OK here we are:
Let me know if you want any close ups.
Spare parts (all desoldered, untested):
Board 1 (boots but no fast ram):
Board 2 (does not boot, hot cpld - even after replacing both of them):
Dead boards (both with broken traces, but have some spart parts on):

Re: Two TF1260 boards with undiagnosed faults
The last one still remains. I think I've changed everything on it several times by now
Anyway the latest is that I fitted two 'brand new' (from aliexpress) CPLDs just in case there were issues with the various other ones I've fitted. Then I put it through the ultrasonic in case of any dirt I couldn't see messing things up, so its nice and clean.
Still no dice from it though, it just gives me a black screen.
Anyway its still available for one more week and, if no takers, I'll just take the useful parts off it and consign the board to the e-waste.

Re: Two TF1260 boards with undiagnosed faults
Could you, please, tell me what was the problem with the board showing 0 ram?
I have a TF1230 with the same issue and before sending it back to the seller I was trying to understand if there is anything I could do.
Thanks in advance!

Honestly I’m not sure, I changed cplds and ram again I think. Most likely a bad connection somewhere.

All gone - one was fixed and the other sold as a project/decoration!
