Looking good...

I don't like the scattered, one-wire connectors J1,J2,J3 and J4, so I also added a 2x3 connectors, with a full row of grounds, so that a ribbon cable would alternate signals and ground. And I also added some mounting holes. I will make the gerbers and send to produce by the end of the week.

That looks great!

Okay, I'm a klutz at reading these things, so just
to make sure, VCC is +5 volts? (like the original).

Thanks.

Does anyone knows where I can get 1.8432 MHz in DIP-14 package cristal oscillators at reasonnable price ? Otherwise I may have to make an adapter to use CMS versions...

@sporniket you could modify the board to accommodate the DIP-8 version (within the DIP-14 footprint) as well as the original DIP-14. That way either can be used.

I am a total newb at this stuff so forgive me if this is way off base,
but I gave it a shot:

https://tinyurl.com/3xuvbmes

From the overview: "Most fit into a 14-pos. DIP socket P/N: 133006 ".

Thanks.

It figures. I actually post something that might have a chance of meaningfully
contributing and it's a day late and a dollar short.

Typical.
