I can, but not until tomorrow arvo so about 30 hours away... In the meantime here's where I connected it on mine:

Here's mine. Bigger pad. Less risk of ripping out a trace when I'm moving the FPGA around ;)

Looks good to me. Do you have your USB Blaster ready to go? I'll see if I can whip up a video test.

*somewhere* in a drawer...gosh I couldn't even tell you what software programs the thing, is it in Quartus ? really can't remember :roll:

Yep, Quartus :D
I've only used Quartus-II (version 13) so I can't tell you whether any later versions will also work.

If you load this file in (use JTAG mode), it'll attempt to display a diagnostic picture at 50Hz.

Red screen with blue and white vertical bars: no vsync
Green screen possibly with one red horizontal bar: vsync

No worries! I hope it's nothing serious, my track record so far isn't looking good otherwise :lol:

You can also read vsync off the following 3 pins arrowed in blue.
