Steve's DST1 Build

Post by Steve »

I used the 3v3 regulator from the DFB1 (all I had) which is why it looks weird with one leg bent over. Just finished programming, will test next :) I'm aware @Badwolf will be ready with a new @ijor inspired firmware soon so I'll flash that as soon as it is hot off the press ;) I could only get 50mhz Osc for this, which is fine as I ideally want to use this with a 68010 which probably won't clock as highly.

Just testing: EmuTOS Icons and screen redraws are black. Frontbench locks up at the same place each time, no bombs. I suspect the new firmware will fix these issues.

And some YAARTT test, seems TT RAM has an issue.

@Steve You could try my build but it's not perfect and still has same problems as the original with alt-ram. But it may behave a little better

Good luck with the 010 @Steve, I tried one at 32 mhz once, it booted a couple of times and then died, never to boot again.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

I think I tried running one at 16MHz in my STE booster ages ago and think I gave up in the end. Those things BURN!
