Boots without issue on a 2B here.

Does it boot again when you revert to the previous FW?

I've updated mine and seems to work fine on 1B PCB.
Friday At Eight seems ok for me after that static image of the face/eyes.
I use Zeb's 16GB CF image. It's full with WHDLoad Games and Demos.

I found that the new WhichAmiga firmware shows the real clock speed of the processor. Could you make similar corrections also in the firmware for TF536?

I have just received my TF1230 128MB

So , in trying to install it I have found some issues...

Yes, it's difficult to get the card physically installed, but once you lift the main board slightly it fits OK

Secondly, after I installed it, I removed my CF from the 1200's onboard IDE, and used a workbench floppy just to confirm the 1230 was working and showing the correct memory.

It was.

Now, I re-connect the CF to the onboard IDE, remove the floppy , and try to boot...

NOTHING... !

So, I turned off and removed the jumper onboard the 1230 that will disable the 030, and re-boot, thinking that the install disk needs libraries installed for it to work perhaps?

So, now it boots, but the 1230 is basically disabled, no fast ram showing up.

Anyway, I run the install disk, and re-boot, putting the jumper back to "Enable 030" mode, and again ....Nothing .. no boot.

Obviously I can't boot from the 1230's IDE as I need a modified Kickstart for that.

So I can't seem to boot from the 1200's IDE when the 1230 is enabled???

Any ideas?

@Abyss is your onboard IDE using a long IDE cable, or is it a short cable?
TF1230 won't work with a long IDE cable unless you use a buffered interface.

@Higgy Yes, long cable
So I just swapped to a short cable and it works !
Thanks for the tip

I thought a cable was a cable .... I didn't think the extra few cm would make a difference?
I assumed as it worked before it should just work as normal.

Thanks again

Out of interest, what's the longest a cable can be for this purpose?

I can. When I get a chance I will
