Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.

@PhilC ah, good to know. Might need some clarification for what is needed for the different build options.

Yeah, was definitely less than 2 hours work. I mean the parts turned up around 1.30, mid lunch and had to pick kids up from school too.

Think the difficult part was removing the PLCC chips from donor board as they both stuck in one corner! Oh and obviously not jumping those 2 bits

Definitely have some sort of problem, get bombs when it tries to read a disk. Whether from boot up or desktop.

Address line issue? From the screen corruption.

@DaveC have a look at your DMA and WD1772, also try reseating your GLUE and see if this helps. The board itself is very nearly plug and play, so its likely some bad connection.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Run YAART and see if the RAM is OK.

YAART doesn't give any errors.

Diagnostic cart gives this for most of the floppy tests.

Code: Select all

EB Bus Error Access Address: 4E4E50 Program Counter: 4E4E50
EB Bus Error Access Address: 4E4E50 Program Counter: FA0E88

Originally sound test didn't work but sounds fine after applying the audio fix.

Tried reseating most of the chips. Swapped the WD1772 as I had known working one in my STe.

Be interesting to see what @JezC gets when he tests with the cartridge!

I would re-seat / resolder the GLUE...
