It’s part of the ROM, look for A600 Gayle style scsi.device.
Edit: You can actually use loadmodule to load a patched scsi.device that you should be able to find somewhere on the net.

By ROM, you mean the kickstart ?

Yes kickstart rom, I edited the reply above to specify that you can also load it from floppy but it’s much easier to just upgrade to kickstart 3.1.
Using 2.0 makes no sense to me.

Thanks appreciated. Fixing to upgrade to 3.1 but not 3.1.4, finding the workbench installation disks (to buy) was not easy for 3.1

Are you 100% sure about that ? From what I heard, there are issues with 3.1.4 that isn't in 3.1

I've been using it since it came out. No issues. You need to have the OS installed, and can forget about booting from old floppies without having to swap disks to load libs, but that's by design.WoC wrote: 17 Mar 2021 20:31 Are you 100% sure about that ? I have used 3.1.4 for the past year and wouldn't downgrade to 3.1WoC wrote: 17 Mar 2021 20:31Are you 100% sure about that ? From what I heard, there are issues with 3.1.4 that isn't in 3.1
I haven't had any issues and its use of large partitions makes using large SD cards a breeze.

On Kick 1.3 and a TF530 I have successfully used this ide.device driver:
