Data bus bit D10 is shorted to power on the RAM.

This is the chip nearest the cpld.

Autoconfig doesnt "see" anything. Autoconfig is just a little rom that the OS reads to understand that there is memory. The memory is always here. Do you get the colour bars?

Anyways lets do these boards one at a time or it will get confusing fast... see above i posted a picture of which pins to check.

May I also suggest checking all the connections with a microscope... these boards are farily simple and it should be easy to spot any shorts or missoldered pins, but you do need a microscope.

When you boot kickstart. Do you see the colour bars. Your first board will do this if its working.

Either AS or DS is not connected correctly..

Go to address 0x00f00000 in the memory editor and see what you get there..

So if you have a look at the other board it will show

11 11 49 F9 00 DF F0 00 30 3C 7F FF 39 40 00 9A

since you are getting a repeating pattern i'm guessing the CPLD is for whatever reason not responding to any internal data requests.
