https://www.lighttech-hg.de/index.php/o ... candoubler
I would like to know if it can be good for my A2000 or has any contraindications ..
Thank you

Only that it is limited in the amount of screen real estate it covers on the output monitor. But that's a result of it not being overly complicated, I would prefer that than the OSSC approach that plugs into anything and scales to just about anything - you don't have to deal with an analog video signal input, you don't have to learn to configure the thing through 18 menus and calculate your scan frequencies and dot clock like it's 1994 and you're configuring X-Windows

You just confirmed what I understood. It seems like a good reason not to buy it .. Are there other A2000 scandoublers that use the video slot?

It's open source by the looks of it. I was going to try and order it but unfamilar with how the gerber files are structured and named there. DirtyPCBs seems to like everything having a .gbr extension with a seperate extention for the drill files and the cuts file. At the bottom of that page is the link to the bom and gerbers (in one zip on aminet).

The Commodore Amber card for the A2000 is top notch! I have one and the screen output on a modern LCD monitor is perfect!

Design of the board looks good. I think i might be able to improve on the CPLD firmware.
EDIT: Only thing i would change about the board is to make it 4 layer.

You're lucky, I would need one too, but I doubt it can still be found. What alternatives would I have?matt020 wrote: 16 Oct 2020 01:07 The Commodore Amber card for the A2000 is top notch! I have one and the screen output on a modern LCD monitor is perfect!

It will also be well made, but if you see half the screen ...
