OFC not, I meant Amiga / retro market. Mire demand, less supply year by year.go0se wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2020 10:17 pm I'm not sure anyone out there is going to be making their fortune off the back of the CDTV!![]()
The CDTV itself wasn't meant to be marketed as a computer in the first place. You had AIO machines like A600, A1200 and it was an expensive to have all accessories, hence so little of complete sets left in good condition.
But the look, I mean, come on:

Putting a NES on top of a CDTV is like letting a dog sit on your vintage Chesterfield sofa!
Sort that out!!

Thats an enormous project bigger than the accelerator itself.bartekmalysz wrote: Thu Jul 09, 2020 10:12 pm @terriblefire apologies if I'm being daft here, but how much work it is to get USB implementation to TF536 and some pinouts to connect ports?

Re: The TF536 on a CDTV
And I thought TerribleFire was the abuser in chief of CDTVs!
From what I've seen today I wouldn't advise putting a 1084 on top of that flimsy CDTV case. It appears to have the structural integrity of an empty tin of supermarket lager.
& If you do end up putting an accelerator in there the monitor on top would be a very bad idea!

Re: The TF536 on a CDTV
I just got excited reading a chap got doom working with TF536 and A500+. @go0se are we waiting for relocator? Have you finished the board, did you get firmware set up along with fastram mapping at start? Share the details please!!!

Re: The TF536 on a CDTV
The relocator PCBs have been ordered and should be here towards the end of next week. The CDTV firmware build for the 536_2b is one for TerribleFire to add to his long list of tasks & if he gets a chance.bartekmalysz wrote: Tue Jul 14, 2020 8:54 am I just got excited reading a chap got doom working with TF536 and A500+. @go0se are we waiting for relocator? You've been waiting for 29 years, a few more weeks won't hurt right?

In the Amiga world, there is 2 things that is missing :
1) A CDTV accleretaor
2) A new 2MB chip hack for the A1000
