no, i was short of jumpers so there is a wire soldered.derkom wrote: 08 Dec 2019 16:58 Are you missing the jumper in the Flashy Clock socket area? That may be affecting your reset behaviour.

Re: will it compute? btl's attempt to build the H4
Did you use a original switch ? And exact part number for the reset switch and LS chip next to it ? Soldered reset ic in the right way ?

Yes, i used the switch of my donor 520ST.
I can report keyboard and mouse working, too.
Will check my mouser order if i got the correct reset IC. It is soldered correct orientation, that much i could double check already
My next Atari time frame is on Tuesday :?

You might want to check R13 and R919, they can very easily be confused...

Re: will it compute? btl's attempt to build the H4
Thanks Ingo,
i checked but they were correct. then i checked my Reset IC, and indeed, no idea how, but i ordered the wrong part.
Same functionality, but "active high" logic, soinverted logic than expected. I'll try to find the correct one, but mouser
wants 20€ shipping for a 0.58€ part. If someone knows a seller in EU with reasonable shipping, let me know.
For now, i left out the chip and rely on the reset switch only. I know, thats not good and may produce trouble,
but its only temporary.

I think I ordered a couple more than I needed, let me check tonight. I could then send you one, if you PM me your address. You are in Germany as well, right? And the part number was SN74LVC1G11DBVR ?

yeah, i'm in germany. The parts was U$6 RESET_IC SOT143-4 STM6315RGW13F
it would be awesome if you have spare for me!
greets,

Well done and interesting to see it's a little too bright on your 1084 as well.
Time to experiment with those 3 resistor values on the rgb circuit.

If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.
