some new pics on building up the STe switcher, just to show how easy it is, in case anyone is putting off ordering one due to soldering worries :)
pics were taken with a 'go pro' cheap knockoff I'm experimenting with, so not the best quality, but there are better pics I did on another build here: http://www.spiny.org/atari/photos/exxos ... index.html
I have three of these kits now, and they are well worth the upgrade. If you just use the jumper rather than drill thecase for a switch, it's possible to go back to stock too.
to make sure the pins are straight, I put them in a socket firts, then line them up on the board.
all done
REMINDER - Stay logged in for at least 2 hours a week to get whitelisted.
