I was today years old when I figured out that pressing the power button really fast multiple times on my mobile phone rings the emergency services...

I must have missed that memo.?! Does anyone else not know that either?

Regarding the posts about air conditioning, is there a reason that you don't just buy a normal split appliance, the type where the compressor is outside on the wall or standing on the ground, not inside the room generating heat?

Girlfriend found something slightly amusing early. I was saying about using A.I. to help solve all the server issues, help with config issues, fight the floods of traffic, all sorts of coding issues and solutions fixing the forum, wiki, writing programs etc etc.. and what does she ask it ... "why do my tablets taste like beef" ! :lol: :roll:

Power went off for 2 hours last week :roll:

Now I "un-forgot" that the new stupid ONT box doesn't have power on a power cut. My router is powered from the UPSU upstairs.

So found one of these boxes. Took a bit to find one which you can change batteries in. Then took even long to find somewhere which actually had the batteries in stock at a sane price! yay cricklewood !
