DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: Archie A3000 inbound
Finally, found the time to start to take care of my A3000, which in the meantime has started failing again...
First, since I want to avoid buying new parts as much as possible, I started by scavenging those from the failing motherboard:
Next step will be to transplant them on the new A3000 motherboard.

Thanks !
Slowly but surely, the transplantation is beginning to take shape:
And I forgot to tell my Archie will be endowed with 8MB RAM from now on !

Re: Archie A3000 inbound
Looking good 😁
At some point it'd be nice to upgrade my A5000 to 8Mb, 4 just isn't enough, but options are limited at the moment.

Thanks !
Yes, 4MB is too low...
The only option is Evilbay, but prices are often pure madness.

Prices on Evilbay and CJE are just eye watering.

Depending on which MEMC1a it will use, I guess it won't be cheap either...rubber_jonnie wrote: 05 May 2026 14:29 Somebody is working on a solution over on Stardot, but how long it'll be I don't know.
And since MEMC1a @ 12MHz seem to be unobtainium now, you will be limited to the more common 10MHz one.
