So I was literally telling my mother the other day I am surprised one of my motives has lasted as long as it did.. And guess what happened the very next day !!! Pretty much sums up my luck really!

Out with the old and in with the new...

The motors are going rusty because people keep using crap "spray foams" on thier carpets.. It foams up like mad in my machine and get sucked through the motors because it is "lightweight".. And because it is basically sludge, any de-foaming agents simply do not touch it. It's almost like glue !! And highly corrosive it seems !!

I really wish people would stop taking what they see on television as gospel, because a lot of it is just pure nonsense! I mean seriously who in their right mind would fill their carpets full of foaming bleach which isn't far off glue in fact! Then people cannot figure out why they end with black marks on the carpet !! But when they have their carpets cleaned, I then have to deal with the consequences of their poor decisions! Horror stories I could tell.. But always seems to fall on deaf ears.. so I won't bother again..... I'll probably just have to introduce a "foam tax" in future to cover my time and costs in fixing their mistakes.

:sigh:

Well here's a conundrum.. The bearings in the 10 year old washing machine have gone

A guy is coming out in the morning to give the quote on fixing it, but I fear its going to be rather a lot, or he won't want to do it anyway..

The annoying thing is in all this, the bearings only cost £25.. I could try repairing it myself, but it could drag on for a few weeks.. Plus the whole thing would probably drive me nuts as well... But seems stupid to spend like £550 on a new washer, when it only needs a £25 part

But then again, its 10 years old.. is it better to gamble on a old washer living a few more years, or gamble on a new one where my girlfriend has had 3 washing machines now in 7 years as they don't last long anymore !

I mean if the bloke says £200 to fix, considering its probably going to take someone who should know what they are doing, maybe 4 hours.. probably worth the gamble.. but if its more like £400.. not worth it.. or try and fix myself.. which probably won't end well considering the troubles I had fixing the toilet a few months back

Also, the office chair had no electrical component and you still set it on fire...
