We had 3 or 4 hours of the two cats taking it in turns to lie on us & demand fusses through Saturday night...obviously while we were trying to sleep!

Yup, sounds like cats in general...they only bother when you are trying to sleep or do something else...

With the monies generated from CL4, I was able to afford buying myself a better digital microscope thingy :)

The smaller one I had before I couldn't really get very big boards on it because the rear of the stand was always in the way. So I went with a similar thing which is on a farm so I can literally get anything underneath this now! Mostly I was thinking about when I re-solder the big SMT chip on my Milan, I wanted a better way of seeing what I was doing...

So anyway here are some pictures and probably no particular order.. Instruction manual was completely useless. They've missed things out and fuse things a lot!

We can also see the dodgy repairs @JezC Falcon SDMA chip has had before at some point..

Onlt a grand @exxos ? If you can PM where I can buy one for that amount, i'll try to get second one (then I can run both Logic Audio Falcon & Cubase Audio Falcon without killling the cart connector)...

My wife was being told it was worth around £3k at CL 4 by someone...so she was asking why I'd be prepared to loan it to you (instead of selling it and taking her on holiday or something)...

That be why she wasn't happy then..

3k for a falcon? They wasn't even going for that kitted up with a CT60? Madness eitherway.

Looks to me like that SDMA needs re-flowing at a bare minimum? Ideally a full removal, clean & re-install.
