Interests in the CT60e still ?
Interests in the CT60e still ?
Are people still interested in obtaining a CT60e ?
I always felt it was a much better install than the original. I have been thinking of trying to revive this great project for some time now. Though only worth the effort if people are still interested in it..

Count me in.
Re: Interests in the CT60e still ?
I'd be interested...but probably would need to get a suitable CPU (and maybe a second Falcon) as well.
If we could swap between a stock and boosted Falcon without lots of soldering I'd reduce that to just needing the CPU...

Re: Interests in the CT60e still ?
I don't think there is any soldering needed for the CT60e. There's a jumper to enable / disable CT60 mode, that's kinda it anyway IIRC.JezC wrote: Mon Sep 15, 2025 2:19 pm If we could swap between a stock and boosted Falcon without lots of soldering I'd reduce that to just needing the CPU...
Re: Interests in the CT60e still ?
Does the CT60e allow other cards for the expansion bus (for example the Nova Falcon) to be stacked on top? If yes I might be interested.
According to the picture it looks like on of the pin headers is duplicated on the card, but there doesn't seem to be a duplicated pin hearer for the smaller one.

Re: Interests in the CT60e still ?
AFAIK it doesn't support expansion cards (maybe a bit of a moot point as I don't believe they are made any longer?) . While there is an expansion header, I have no idea what its for.don_apple wrote: Mon Sep 15, 2025 3:24 pm Does the CT60e allow other cards for the expansion bus (for example the Nova Falcon) to be stacked on top? Maybe someone else knows ?

Not as moot as you might think: I actually have a Nova Falcon with a Mach32 graphics card, which I currently can't use because the DFB1X doesn't pass through the expansion header.exxos wrote: Mon Sep 15, 2025 3:49 pm (maybe a bit of a moot point as I don't believe they are made any longer?)

People have got around that problem by soldering a header on top.don_apple wrote: Mon Sep 15, 2025 4:15 pm Not as moot as you might think: I actually have a Nova Falcon with a Mach32 graphics card, which I currently can't use because the DFB1X doesn't pass through the expansion header.
Re: Interests in the CT60e still ?
Expansion header is for the Super Videl.
