That confused me too. I didn't have the forbidden cable but that's apparently how they work.

I was able to it using a butchered cable in during my lunch break at work.

It was actually really stress free.

@sety I was lucky to have one of those cables for a previous project, so that made it very easy, otherwise I was going to have to use the method you did

Just waiting on the final five parts for the W32i board, the DAC and the four ram chips.

Its looking like I should have this finished this week as long as I can find a suitable room image for it.

Once I've got it working I'll send a board to @agranlund and @dml and may keep another for myself. Maybe one spare available.

I did consider this as another supported card for my projects, but I would rather it go to the Ravens.

If however, its still 'spare' or unwanted by the time CL4 comes around... let me know. :)

I got excited today when I heard the letterbox go, hoping for the last couple of components to arrive, so that I could get the Excelgraph ET4000 W32i finished and tested. Only it was just the DAC chip and I still have to wait for the ram chips to arrive. Hopefully tomorrow.

I did manage to find the proper ROM image for the card and have that programmed into the eprom now, so just the ram chips to go.
