Looks really good.
Did you ever get the 2nd parcel with the XE in it?

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Sadly not as yet :(
I have been chasing the guy but he just seems to be ghosting me (Well somebody else too) so I'm glad the 800 actually turned up.
I know the other guy who bought from him is also missing a package, his was £40, but still too much to really throw away because somebody is too lazy to post it :(
If I get it I'll let you know, I've got his phone number, I may try calling him as it's getting daft now and 130XE aside, there was a serial adapter I wanted that was in that 2nd box too, plus some ICs from the 1050.

Turns out you can store 3 out of the 4 boards inside the machine with the incognito installed:
The lid still closes and everything works too, so happy to keep the main parts together. There is one RAM board that I can't fit in there, but that's OK, the important ROM board is with the computer.

Re: Finding this was lucky - Atari 800
This fellow:
Has been a huge help getting the CF card sorted for the Incognito when my Win 10 laptop, and/or combination of adapters wouldn't even see my 4GB card.
The Powerbook G4 took the card via the PCMCIA slot, allowed me to format the FAT32 partition and copy all my Atari files across no problem. Having machines that are older is very handy indeed.

Yep still had the BBC A/Bs when i left.mrbombermillzy wrote: 28 Mar 2025 15:15In my junior school we had BBC A/Bs and later when I went to Comprehensive/secondary school, it was Archies.rubber_jonnie wrote: 28 Mar 2025 14:59 No, I never saw a single Apple in any shop round my way, but we did have one in our school.
I think @jwd can tell us if they changed computers later in the junior school, as IIRC he went to the same junior school as me. :)
Secondary school had a room full of BBC masters when i got there and gradually replaced with Nimbus PC's and Archie's (which no one used). The thing that really got me drooling was later on they had one Mac SE30 for the business classes, even though i didn't do business studies I made sure i took a big interest in the after school business sampler classes just to get a play on it! Pagemaker, Hypercard, ClarisWorks was like royalty compared to my 1st Word Plus on my ST.
One day I will own a SE30. . . . . . when i finish all my 100 other projects somewhere around 2045!

Re: Finding this was lucky - Atari 800
A small addition to the collection today, and it goes great with the 800:
And since I have a Trakball it'll be a great nostalgia trip to my younger days when I had the Trakball and it came with Missile Command as a pack in.
I must admit that whilst I have SD card solutions like SDriveMAX, SIDE3 and other similar carts, I have a bit of an affinity for the older brown 'Left Cartridge' cartridges and I may start to collect a few more of them, they are incredibly well engineered and very robust.

@PhilC
Quick question for you, in this picture where I've highlighted the locations with a red circle:
I know there are supposed to be some latches that hold the front of the lid down. Does your 800 by any chance have them, and if so could you get a photo of them please, and also possibly the screws.
I need to make some for mine.
Thanks.
