Starting my blog topic to track my build and keep the other posts as intended.
Here is progress after a couple of evenings soldering.
I was having trouble finding the PGA206 socket, so I made it up with female turned header strips. Probably not the best idea as the CPU chip is now pretty tightly seated and did not want to come out when I attempted to remove it. :o

This is probably a bit better then strips I suppose. But it is definitely a snug fit in an ordinary socket as well.

Okay, Raven060 board is now built. Only soldered in 1 ISA for testing as should only need an ET4000 card. I am waiting on the MC68510 chip to arrive.
1 x RAM module has its chips soldered on, just needs the capacitors.
And will look at programming the ROM, and other chips.

If anyone else is struggling to get real 68060 PGA sockets and not too far from Switzerland, I've got 6 here (ok need to desolder them but that is easy...).

ROM now programmed with the last ROM shared.
Managed to get Coolterm working on Windows 11. I made these changes to the settings:
Serial Port section:
Baudrate set to 750000, data bits 8, Parity none, Stop bits 1
Under Terminal section:
Enter Key Emulation set to CR instead of CR+LF
Then connected to COM port.
E erased
I showed the chip information
P to commence programming
Then in the top menu under Connection, select "Send Text/Binary File..."
Select the ROM file and then watch it send with the progress bar. The Pi LED blinks as advised as it processed the file.
When completed transferring, a message shows the transferred size which corresponded with the ROM file size. :)

MC68150FN33 chip has arrived and is now socketed.
I have also soldered in the ATF1508AS JTAG 10 pin IDC socket.
Now to program the ATF1508AS chip…if I can remember how I have done this before.
So not far off completing the build now. Won't have any time this weekend to progress further but hopefully in a week's time will be powering the Raven060 up and testing things.

With regards to the SIMM and ROM SIMM. When I ordered the PCBs, I missed that these needed to be a certain thickness. A costly mistake when they are coloured black.
Thought I would mention it here to help others.
They need to be 1.2mm thick as noted here:

@agranlund I also wanted to check: I have ATF1508AS-10JU84 which are 10ns chips which are not 7.5ns as per the BOM. I am hoping that the speed difference will not cause any issues.
