Yeah Cryptodad tests on both ST and STe. I also run on a H5 which is based on ST.

Just a thought, since the PiSTorm emulates the 68000 as well, can
someone run it like that and check compatibility with P.Pera's, Klaz
or Dbug's various adapted games so we can get an idea about
compatibility?

Showing Pi3 for now as it offers the lowest profile. You can hopefully see that there is no way this assembly fits under the keyboard. So the only way the PiStorm will fit inside an STfm is if the PiStorm is extended off the CPU socket.Something like this -

As mentioned previously,the system won’t work with a GPIO extender.

I’m afraid that there’s no way to fit any CPU replacement/booster with this motherboard revision and have the keyboard fitted, even with a relocator due to the location and the available space.

I'm not a game player, but over the last few months of development, I have occasionally tested the 1M folder contents. Pretty much all run. Note, sometimes you will have to change TOS ROM to load/play
If there is any particular game you would like to me check, let me know

That isn't a GPIO extender. It's a 68k extender. (I assume you are referring to the photo crypto posted)

Well, that's potentially worse, with the amount of ground bounce and cross talk on the data/address lines you'll never get a stable system.

Okay, finally people are showing an interest in this project. But let me just remind you all, this is development work and was/is a proof of concept.
So we find ourselves in the position where the emulation and firmware work for ATARI ST and STe, but we are seeing typical Atari issues where any two machines are not the same. This can be resolved.
The next issue is how to install the hardware in the Atari casing. Only the Phoenix H5 board will allow this if using an off-the-shelf PiStorm. @Badwolf is developing an STe adaptor, but, even if that works, a Pi4 will need surgery to fit (removal of LAN and USB connectors). Then we have the ST and the myriad of Motherboards. Well, a custom solution is needed for this unfortunately. Is anyone up for that?
