A complete set of capacitors for the PSU has been ordered. Rather expensive. I had to buy from Farnell as, as usual these days, RS Components just doesn't stock most of the stuff I need.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Have you found any leaky ones at all? You did mention some fishiness in an earlier post.

I was told that all the motherboard caps had been replaced two owners ago. I can't see any leakage.

I couldn't see any leakage in the PSU, but there's huge amounts of hot snot in there. I'm going to have to desolder practically all of the low voltage caps in one go as they're all stuck together.

I did all the mainboard caps except the axial ones, all I did in the PSU was clean it, grind the rust off, paint it and remove 5x rifas of which one had already failed (annoyed I missed two of them!).

Ah, this is a different PSU. Glen kept the original one for his replacement IIci.

The PSU capacitors have arrived, so I foresee a lot of desoldering and soldering tonight

I'll think of the fun you'll be having when I'm at Karate tonight :)

Hehe.

Well, the "best" fun is trying to get the circuit boards out of the housing. Aztec don't make it easy.

Yeah, some Apple PSUs are really not so friendly.
