Lastly the Electron:
Again, in good, but not perfect condition for the box/polys. It comes with various leads and tapes (mainly blanks).
However, whilst the PSU works, the actual machine had trouble booting.
The first attempt was with the screen trash above. After several more attempts, I did actually get a beep and the BASIC prompt (the cursor was not flashing though). So not far from being able to boot, but still; no cigar.
Perhaps this is one for @rubber_jonnie? :P

Three very nice looking computers @mrbombermillzy, shame I've got too many spectrums and C64s already.
The electron is broken, just how I prefer them

I'm afraid that's probably the extent of the tests for these machines. Hopefully this is reflected in the prices.
Just the C64C to try now (which may take a bit longer to get to).
I've put some prices up on the first post which I think may be reasonably set. (I'm open to offers/PX/deals though :D ).
Here they are again though:
- Spectrum 128k (toastrack) boxed SOLD
- Acorn Electron boxed SOLD
- Commodore 64C Light fantastic pack boxed
- Cassette player boxed £10

I might have been interested if I didn't already have 2 Electrons :)mrbombermillzy wrote: 30 May 2023 14:50 Lastly the Electron:

If it booted to BASIC, then there may be hope for it yet, fingers crossed the ULA is good and it's just a power, CPU or RAM issue, but it looks like a neat little bundle for somebody.
One of mine has a dead ULA and I have a ULA replacement board, but getting hold of the 10M08SCE144C8G that I need that is the heart of it is really problematic, and that project has been on hold for me for 2 years now!!!
Also, I just bought a breadbin C64 from PhilC and I already have a Spectrum 128 and a C64C, so I'm afraid the answer is 'not on this occasion', though I do hear the Electron calling me to help...

You are like me Phil. I prefer the machines in more of a Call of Duty edition look.

@rubber_jonnie
The Electron is in very fine cosmetic shape. I was quite taken back when it wouldnt boot properly.
Have tested with another working 16V DC supply (which I know powers up another Electron fine) with the same results as the Genuine PSU.

My dead one is a bit scruffy having used the nice parts to bring my good one back to life. Luckily I did get 2 working PSUs out of it.mrbombermillzy wrote: 30 May 2023 15:05 @rubber_jonnie

If nobody else is interested in the electron then I may take it off your hands, just to fix it though as I have a Beeb B and a Master as it is right now.
