Falcon 030 3-in-1 monitor adapter
Falcon 030 3-in-1 monitor adapter
In a few days, the 3-in-1 monitor adapter for the Falcon030 will be available in exxos store.
This adapter plugs into the monitor port and makes it possible to connect monitors using a standard VGA cable.
It also features a switch for changing between RGB and VGA video modes, allowing users with multi-sync monitors to take advantage of all video modes of the Falcon030. Finally, the adapter provides a higher frequency pixel clock signal to the Falcon030 video chip, making it possible to achieve higher screen resolutions. The adapter is compatible with the Blow-Up software and Videlity software (used to configure the enhanced video modes).
More information here:

The Blow-Up software has been released by its author and can be copied freely.
Please read the READ-ME.TXT file included in the BLOWUP.ZIP archive for further instructions and a few example configurations (these require the 3-in-1 monitor adapter).

Re: 3-in-1 monitor adapter soon available in exxos store
I purchases one and it's great. I can get TOS to display 1024x768, but I'm unable to make it work under MINT and XaAES - XaAES throws an invalid screen-type: 1023, I have the video = 26 in the xaaes.cnf file - what's the magic to make this work with XaAES. Thanks!
Re: 3-in-1 monitor adapter soon available in exxos store
I'm not a MiNT user but people have reported successfully getting BlowUp to work with MiNT and MyAES. With XaAES multiple users were reporting issues and I don't know if anyone eventually got it to work. If you don't want to switch to MyAES, you can try another software, such as Videlity and see if it works better with XaAES.mjc4513 wrote: Wed Jul 25, 2018 9:42 pm I purchases one and it's great. Re: 3-in-1 monitor adapter soon available in exxos store
It would be great to use MyAES, but I have not been able to find any documentation on how to install MyAES into an existing MINT install. Do you know where I can find it? The links on the MyAES site for documentation are deadends. Thansk!
