Given that @dad664npc, with some testing help from the community, has now got to the point where most things are working I thought I'd put a thread in here for the PiStorm Atari.
As of this morning I have booted into TOS1.4 using an UtraSATAN connected to the ACSI bus with a very fast (but no JIT) emulated 68000 and the machine is running Virus at the moment. I've also plugged in the diagnostic cartridge and booted into this, only one initial complaint about "I7 bus error not detected" but then all the test pass.
This is, of course, not taking full advantage of the new, more Pi centric, systems and just focusing on the PiStorm as an accelerator, as this is what I'm interested in.
Anyway, this thread is for discussion and sharing of experiences and maybe even helping @dad664npc with the project.
The project's Github repository can be found here: https://github.com/gotaproblem/pistorm-atari-jit/
Don't use the old non-jit version.
Can all registered uses please login, even just for a few minutes..
It helps build a picture where our "good traffic" is coming from..
Thanks :)

PiStorm Atari
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Re: PiStorm Atari
Just a note that not all A500/A2000 PiStorm board work. My original one was just too slow. Although it worked fine in an Amiga it just couldn't keep up with the needs of the Atari bus. @dad664npc has kindly loaned one of his for the time being and I have a new one hopefully arriving today. Fingers crossed that this new one works.
So, if you try this current firmware and emulator and you always get memory errors in the ataritest test program then look first at your PiStorm adapter board and not the ST or the Pi.
P.S. this is the board which doesn't work, and it's not technically because it has xxx374 latches as they work on other boards. Maybe it's a slow CPLD???
