DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

New project: Repro Camputers Lynx
Well, the secret is a secret no more... My new project is a reproduction Camputers Lynx.
PCBs remade by "The Board Folk" in dashing purple.
Unfortunately the ICs aren't labelled on the board and I don't have a BOM either, so that's the first part of the project to start on.
P.S. Found the Github site: https://github.com/Board-Folk/Camputers ... Lynx%20128

Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

@stephen_usher that's rather amusing. Considering I'm expecting a Lynx to be delivered today.ill send you some PCB photos to help you identify those chips once it arrives.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

Re: New project: Repro Camputers Lynx
This evening I did an audit of chips relative to the BOM.
I'm in need of quite a few but thankfully all but the MC6845 are available from Mouser so I can do an order tomorrow. I can also add the inductors, variable resistor and variable capacitor to the list.
I can get on with starting installing all the sockets. I have enough stock of all of them, I think. Then I can do the resistors and ceramic caps.
Checking the board, the configuration using 4164 RAM won't need the -5V or 12V supply so I can just use a buck regulator and feed it either 9V or 12V to generate the +5V.

I have 2 Lynx, my original 48k and a 96k I bought secondhand shortly after they went bust.
I should try to boot them up. The PSU should be checked.

Yeah, the regulators could be a bit off and if the 4116 RAM doesn't get the full complement of voltages they can be damaged.peters wrote: 26 Mar 2026 08:43 I have 2 Lynx, my original 48k and a 96k I bought secondhand shortly after they went bust.

Re: New project: Repro Camputers Lynx
There seems to be an interactive BoM on the github repo, I've added it here.
Just unzip it, I had to upload that way as html is not allowed as an upload. Attack vector apparently.
One gotcha I've had with these is that if you close your browser after placing parts you can run into issues with it forgetting what you've done, so yo may need to save after each use.

Thankfully the 128K/192K version uses 4164.
