DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Hello

Post by StevenMarshall »

Greetings from Atari user. I've had 1040 STF back in 1996.

Going back to the roots in 2026, thanks to way too many irritating issues with the MIDI in Logic X on a modern Mac.

Cheers!!!

Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

Which Atari sequencer are you going to be using?

A bit of M, Ludvig, Presto, and a lot of Cubase.

Speaking of Cubase, I remember a friend who had an STE,the graphics were flying on that thing.

I’m currently looking for a Blitter chip to order from the Exxos store. Hopefully everything goes well, and some long-time dreams come true.

I also have a lot of hardware sequencers. Full gear list is here:

Wow, dude you have every synth in the world.
You must be competing with Doctor Mix!!

You're clearly a talented guy with a lot of experience (if that's all your info).
It's great to read your bio. :-D

Possibly your friend was running NVDI or Warp9 which were some fast graphical accelerators, that made the UI on his STE fly?

Just a regular STE. But I swear anything that involved graphics was twice as fast there, than my STF. My conclusion was - it's the blitter chip.
