DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

The Family Computer has arrived!!!

Post by rubber_jonnie »

Well, I have to say I'm very impressed with the seller in Japan, it's taken just 7 days for this to arrive:

And to my surprise, it's not the one in the listing photo, this one is much cleaner and doesn't have a broken eject slider, plus it is a lot cleaner :)

Next up will be a strip down and clean, the d-pad cables are not great, but may improve with cleaning, otherwise I may need to find a replacement.

Other than the missing expansion port cover, it's in decent condition externally bar a good clean.

Happy days.

Usual routine for Japan Post and its affiliate EMS.

;)

And BTW, nice machine.

Hope the "rubber_jonnie touch" will give it its splendor back.

I'll certainly give it my best shot to make it lovely again :)

Let's hope that you can get all the necessary mods done to get it up and running in the UK.
Intro retro computers since before they were retro...
ZX81->Spectrum->Memotech MTX->Sinclair QL->520STM->BBC Micro->TT030->PCs & Sun Workstations.
Added code to the MiNT kernel (still there the last time I checked) + put together MiNTOS.
Collection now with added Macs, Amigas, Suns and Acorns.

First thing is a clean I think, though the internals are quite clean and tidy:

I'm sure I'll be able to get it going, but I do need a 72-60 pin adapter or get some carts specific to this.

Nice. I've wanted a Super Famicom for a while (I would like 60Hz but I don't like the USA square shape). I might get the nerve to order one from JP

Mine came from Japan, but bought via eBay UK, worth a look. You could also try Sendico.
