Hi All,
I finally got time to try to install the STE32MHz Booster (v1 V4sm 2023).
I noticed that the resistor P100 on my STE is having a marking m9-1-222J. If I understod right from the Guide,
this is not the correct one and has to be changed? Is there more information what kind of resistor pack is correct (I should order it somewhere).
Also I have a question about 8MHz switch.
In the guide it is said:
Q) How do I enable 8MHz mode
Connect the SW pad on the booster some 0v somewhere to disable the boosters 32Mhz mode and enables 8MHz mode.
Which pad this is on the booster? Is it the next from Rom connection wire? In the guide there is no picture of this.

DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Atari STE32MHz (v1 V4sm 2023), resistor pack P100 and 8MHz SW pad questions
Re: Atari STE32MHz (v1 V4sm 2023), resistor pack P100 and 8MHz SW pad questions
I think in the page you linked, step 7 photo, you'll see the 'SW' pad next to resistor R4.Lumikaaos wrote: Thu Oct 30, 2025 10:55 am Which pad this is on the booster? Is it the next from Rom connection wire? In the guide there is no picture of this.
And Exxos sells that resistor pack in his store: https://www.exxosforum.co.uk/atari/store2/#0218

It explains in Step 3 of the guide what value the resistor is:Lumikaaos wrote: Thu Oct 30, 2025 10:55 am Hi All,

So I believe you will need to change P100.
SW should have a silkscreen marking that says exactly that. I believe it is at the back of the board near the GAL. If you have a photo of this area of your board it would help.

I changed the resistor pack and made the switch connection to sw pad as Steve pointed.
Everything is now working
ThanX
Is there any similar booster for Mega STE?

I take it you specifically mean 32Mhz since the MSTE runs at 16Mhz?Lumikaaos wrote: Sat Nov 08, 2025 2:27 pm I changed the resistor pack and made the switch connection to sw pad as Steve pointed.
