DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

7.30 Zulu (8.30 BST) AWS us-east-1 went boom (e.g. they probably push an untested update that broke everything) and it has resulted in half of the modern internet going offline.
I'd hate to be a tech support in AWS this morning
So many IOT not working now from my house lights, the doorbell, smart speaker, games console (online gaming), half the apps on my TV, several of my banks the app doesn't log in.
Wowsers who would have thought such a simple single point of failure could bring down so much.
Going by the amount of attacks which come from their servers I'm not suprised it's crashed.
I've voiced similar concerns a couple of years ago, that if everywhere is using Google to log into sites via Google login, then google ban you.. I already fell victim to my buisness listing being removed and like normal, once you're on their naughty list... Same with evilbay payapl, Cloudflare, Microsoft etc etc..
We just need no digital ID = no internet access and job done I suppose.
Heh. Counterintuitively perhaps, this is always been my reason to use AWS at work.
If AWS goes down, our shitty little company having an outage isn't likely to be the biggest problem any of our customers are having that day!

We are in France at the moment and our Amazon Firestick had a fairly bad wobble and lost it's home screen plus nothing would play on Prime Video.
Luckily a lot else was still working, but definitely badly messed up.
Sky news seems to be saying it's a DNS issue.

video only resulted in the busy signal and wouldn't resolve...

I had no issues with YouTube, just Amazon.
