I dont know if its because Ive never been to any bigger scale vintage computer events, but anyway, this vlog by LGR had me absolutely salivating:
Im posting it here for the like-minded droolers. You know who you are!

Are they both always on the same weekend?

Re: VCF East 2025
Here are my tables set up. I took a fair amount of video yesterday and today. I'll get a video up in around a week. It'll be part VCF Midwest overview and part commentary on the social aspect of retro computing.
It was a mad house for about 8 hours today. I had a couple of the really big YouTubers stop by at least briefly (that I noticed): Sean from Action Retro spent some time tinkering with the Falcon, the 8-bit guy stopped briefly by, Ben Heck, LGR, Crazy Ken....these are just the ones I noticed. Spent quite a while connecting with the gentleman from Ravenwolf Retro Tech who picked up game code he wrote in the 80's again to finish an RPG off:
Anyone who was a self-described ST Atarian, I asked if they frequented this forum and pointed them this way if they weren't already connected. It was so great to connect with so many awesome folks! Had a gentleman stop by and walk me through programming a lines-like "screen saver" on my 800xl in basic, heard loads of fantastic Atari stories, sold both the extra ST's I had brought for sale (crazy pricing on the other ST's there...I was $100 cheaper and even then I felt like I was asking too much), picked up an Indus drive for my 8-bit Atari's, some new old stock Atari ST / 8-bit games and an Apple IIgs.
Although anytime @Darlkord dropped by, all my ST's seemed to crash....curse you and your bad luck.
