I'm after a keyboard to replace mine which has missing keys, for the Atari STM/ST+, the one without a built in floppy drive. Unfortunately it's an earlier keyboard that doesn't have the same key caps as the STFM/STE.
Will consider broken keyboards or those with missing keys.

DO NOT USE DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time it is unfortunately not possible to white list users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: WANTED Atari STM keyboard
Does your keyboard have the regular "cross" head on the white stem to attach the key?
Or is it the earlier type which had a spring?
I have one of these keyboards (spring type) but not complete

Re: WANTED Atari STM keyboard
Would you mind posting an image of the keyboard posts / keycaps?
I have some very early Atari 520STs from 6/85 and 8/85 and their keyboards are totally compatible with all the others. The only difference is that the stems/plungers are black plastic and not the typical white.

Re: WANTED Atari STM keyboard
... a Atari Mega ST Keyboard also fits in a 260/520ST(M) Modell ...
Re: WANTED Atari STM keyboard
Thanks for the replies.
Here's a couple of images of the keyboard, it's the type with springs and rectangular posts, a nice keyboard to type on. Should have posted these earlier, but wasn't sure how to add images.
I didn't think about the Mega ST keyboard being a suitable option too, although I'd feel bad about butchering a fully working one!

Re: WANTED Atari STM keyboard
Yes it's the early type keyboard that uses springs and mylar, no rubber domes
It's a really nice quality keyboard
The keyboard is unique to the early 520 ST
I may have those keys..

Re: WANTED Atari STM keyboard
If you have those keys and are willing to part with them, I'd love to fix the keyboard I have and keep the machine original. Do you have springs too or know if they're the same as those on some of the 8-bit Atari's?atarifreakz wrote: Wed Oct 01, 2025 7:25 pm Yes it's the early type keyboard that uses springs and mylar, no rubber domes
