Exactly why the remake boards were produced because I got sick and tired of fighting bugs with the original machines !
Was pretty painless to get up and running other than jumper settings of course. But I guess I overheated the amp chip whilst reversing it as I have no audio. So the question is - where can I get a replacement?
I have load of the things *somewhere* .... They are a Chinese chip and no idea about any likely compatible ones, which is why I purchased a load of spares for this very situation, but again, where I have put them....
... I will try and find them next week...
