I posted this on AtariAge as well (user name IBP) but as most of those guys are in the USA I thought it would be good to register and post here.
I have a Mega 4 and Mega 2 plus one keyboard, found in a shed I was helping to clear out. I'm an Amiga guy, so the Atari computers have no interest for me - I'd rather they went to an Atari collector who would restore them.
So, free to a good home - I'm on the south coast in Poole, so if anyone is close and wants them, you can PM me and arrange to pick them up. I'm also up in Manchester for work fairly often, so can throw them in the car and meet up there if that helps.

That's really kind of you. Can I make a suggestion? stipulate people should register their interest in this thread first, before pm'ing you. This stops any arguments happening :)

Wow! looks like I chose a good time to sign in.
I would be very interested in the Mega 4 + Keyboard, but Im happy to pay you at least something towards them.
I am near Southampton, so Poole isnt a distance problem. (In fact, we often go to Bournemouth).
So, declaring interest in the Mega 4 + Keyboard. :D
Also, if anyone who is coming to CL4 wants the other Mega, Im happy to pick it up and bring it up to them, if they want it.
I guess I can even post if necessary.

@mrbombermillzy I wouldn't mind the other Mega if you'd be so kind. Again, happy to donate etc.
If it ain't broke, test it to Destruction.

It's yours mate - and seems like you can take the Mega 2 and push it off to our other friend on the thread.mrbombermillzy wrote: 31 Jul 2025 15:37 I would be very interested in the Mega 4 + Keyboard, but Im happy to pay you at least something towards them.
Absolutely no payment needed - I'm happy for it to go to a collector, so I can concentrate my time and energy restoring my Amiga CD32 and Amiga 500.
What is CL4 exactly...?
PM me and I'll let you know my address and whatsapp number - no rush to collect, it's not going anywhere.

Happy ending for all!
Only requirement is…when you’ve restored them and got them running, I want photos.

Well, the two big-box Atari have left for their new life - thanks to mrbombermillzy for trekking over here to collect them.
Now, I just have to work out which Amiga (as we all know, the pinnacle of the 68k architecture) I can use to fill the vacated space in my workshop...

I think that counts as a free hit, since you've been so generous! You can probably get away with saying whatever you like… so I'll zip it and just say mmpphhhmmpphhmphmpphhhhintosh
Seriously though, when I see prices ever skyrocketing on eBay - often for items that really aren't all that - it's wonderful to see little communities for retro-computing where people support each other, despite any partisanships that they might have / have once had.
Top work fella! I wouldn't mind an Amiga myself - but I really need to get rid of some other kit first!
