As some of you may know (and shockingly for someone who lurks on *this* particular forum to admit), I cant solder.
However, Im starting to get a bit of a backlog of items that are in need of repair and really need them fixed, so I can continue writing code for them to test on the actual HW.
Im offering the work out to someone here first, before (reluctantly) looking elsewhere.
To be clear, there is a variety of items that need the magic wand treatment. Some TH, some SM, but ALL retro computer based. (Mainly some rather interesting C64 and ST stuff). Its mainly straightforward soldering, (but there may be some cases that need troubleshooting/fault finding).
I expect to pay a fair price for your time and as long as the item is working, thats great!
Im not in any sort of hurry, so you can take your time. I can post the parts, or can even do the handover at Cyberlegends if you like.
This may be a nice little job for someone with some spare time on their hands...or not; Im not really fussed either way!
