I think the Atari ST's greatest legacy are it's owners/users. The owners/users of countless Atari STs were inspired to become technologists. Software, Hardware and ASIC engineers who brought with them to their workplaces the knowledge they had gained during their ownership and it influenced thousands of products we use everyday.
