Hey, its been sitting for a while, but I wanted to use a TF534 I have in my A500.
I did have it working in an A2000 back in 2020.
My plan was to run this combo
Tf534 / mem68k / rgbtohdmi. I got this from Alanppc in montreal years ago. I did not build. It is a 2018 rev 2d.
My main issues is getting all the various stuff I have working together.
The A500 is a rev 6. One issue is the sockets in the board do not like machine pins. I have a cpu relocator but fitting it with a RGBtohdmi right now is not working. SO I am looking at some other relocators.
Also having issues getting a KS rom that works (fitting it with everything else) So I might just go for a replacement 3.1 ks on a eprom.
So.. is there a setup guide for the TF534? or should it just plug in and go?
I read that running the mem68k and the TF together slows the ram on the TF - the additional 8mb I dont think is that critical, of course I could run some benchmarks and see how slow it gets. Now I can run the mem68k and 68000 cpu in the socket and everything is good. If I use a relocator, should the mem68k be closest to the socket? or the TF card?
Will a TF534 at least boot from a floppy with ks 1.3? no being able to use the IDE.. or will it not boot at all (what I am getting now)
Trying to figure out if the TF534 is working at all right now.

DO NOT USE MOBILE / CGNAT DEVICES WHERE THE IP CHANGES CONSTANTLY!
At this time, it is unfortunately not possible to whitelist users when your IP changes constantly.
You may inadvertently get banned because a previous attack may have used the IP you are now on.
So I suggest people only use fixed IP address devices until I can think of a solution for this problem!

Re: A500 install
ok, so found the TF534 works. I need to find a relocator that works in an A500 that would allow me to also run RGBtohdmi, put a ks rom in (or emu) that fits, all of this under the keyboard.
Anyone have pics or a suggestion of how you got it all in on your A500?

Re: A500 install
Someone else asked something very similar last week, and pictures of how to do this were found on Google, within Google Images to be exact.
I think I searched for "Amiga TF534 RGB2HDMI" and had no problems finding it.

Appreciate it, that also shows the LONGBOY extension that was created long after I bought this stuff back in 2021. I think I have figured out a way I can make it work.matt020 wrote: 17 Mar 2025 09:25 Someone else asked something very similar last week, and pictures of how to do this were found on Google, within Google Images to be exact.

My TF534 is working, everything actually is working, except the single wiper CPU socket will not remain stable with machine pins. So I think I will have to replace the socket. Also found the membrane on my keyboard had an issue.. one that as far as I can tell is not worth fixing.. so ordered a new membrane. Now waiting to get this all back together and usable. Ill post a picture when running.
Question on the mem68k though - I did read that using the mem68k with the TF slows everything down - as the mem68k is only running at the original 7mhz and the 4mb of the TF card would be running at 40mhz(my card) - having that extra 8mb really is not much use to me I assume? Ill run benches to see what the real performance difference is.. but any opinions would be appreciated.
