Programming a XC9572XL CPLD - quick, non-Xilinx way?

A few years ago I programmed one of these using a Raspberry Pi with xc3sprog through JTAG. Easy!

Shortly after the Pi 5 appeared I tried it again and found that xc3sprog was gone... I ended up getting a Xilinx dongle clone and installing many gigabytes of Xilinx stuff to program one CPLD :( Since then I have wiped Windows of course.

Is there an easy way so I don't have to install it all again? :?:

You should be able to use my fork of xc3sprog on Raspberry Pi 5.
