STBook batteries?
They died, long time ago probably, so what to do about it? Recondition or replace - these are the options.
If cutting the old one up is not a prefered option here is another.
My solution combines the (very rare) alkaline adapter version and the usual chargeable version with the flexibility of changing both when needed.

It might not be seen on the photos but the connectors towards the STBook are not flat as on original battery - I'm using the 12x12 mm contacts there. I used some copper sheets during tests. They work well too but I had to cut them to shape, etc.
Let me know if interested in buying but I suggest check the whole webpage or ask any questions before calling it. Price depends on many things. I definitely won't ship batteries due to restrictions, so the cable on those need to be changed. The rest depends on what else you need and what else I need to buy for it to build.
As a guide I'm thinking a 3D printed case with contacts and cables soldered for £45 (no battery inculded) + shipping. Cable for the battery to connect to case will be added.
