Salutations all!

Post by Ijmorrison »

Good evening everyone ...been lurking for a while so thought I had better join! Also just got my second 1040ste ...with custom jigsaw case ...thanks royal mail and what looks like a 5 mile roll down a motorway where no-one managed to miss it  it also isn't one on the motherboard list so I'll be adding after this!

Where to start ... Work in IT (shocker I know), live in Norfolk UK (no I'm not a farmer!), first computer BBC B , then Amiga 500+, Amiga 1200, pc. Used ataris at high school! (And Archimedes!).

Spent a few years restoring arcade boards over a decade ago ... Life happens ...still have a load ..but thought I would look at restoring some old computers a few months ago ...so now have a couple c64s, c128 and now a couple of Atari 1040ste's! Oh and a spectrum +2 (that one is now fixed lol).

Amazing forum here ... Tech info is great (I'm rather in awe of several people here - I won't name names), layout great and most of all ... The attitude is spot on.

So stay tuned ... I'll be the one asking some really really stupid questions very shortly!!!!

Thanks all

Iain

Welcome to the forum!
:welcomewave:

I started with a BBC B as well...but then it was the Atari ST range for me (starting with a 1040 STF that I still have) & have only recently got an Amiga...
