RGB2HDMI mod for the Atari STacy

I had a few people ask if the RGB2HDMI mod for the ST also allowed mono (hi-res) mode. It does, and in the pictures below you can see it in action. On the ST, simply grounding pin #4 on the video port causes it to go into mono/hi-res mode (assuming your display can handle it). Adding a simple mini-toggle switch gives you the easy ability to switch back and forth between color and mono modes (after a reboot). So my STacy can now do lo-res, medium-res and hi-res. Yay!

BTW, here is what you get if you leave your SC1224 plugged into the external color monitor port on the STacy,
while running in hi-res mode.

Honestly, I'm not sure. It's not unexpected. After all, the SC1224 is a color
monitor that only handles low and medium resolutions.

I'm sure if you plugged an SM124 monitor into the external monitor port it
(the STacy screen) would work fine, but I don't have one.

The SC1224 works fine plugged in as long as the STacy is in low or medium
resolution.

Apparently, you just can't "mix and match".

I've not tried it just yet (but will later some time), but I'm betting my
Dell 27" monitor with the UBE style VGA adapter will work fine with
all 3 ST resolutions from the STacy's external monitor port.

Will report back when I do.
