SCSIknife a new variant of ZuluSCSI device available

Post by tOriman »

Hi,

I got a new variant of ZuluSCSI for testing on the Atari from Antoine Bercovici - it is SCSIknife! Everything works very well. The device is seen without problems, partitions on disk images are also mounted without problems. Very important is that you need to connect to the Atari via a compatible adapter. In my case, I connected via ICD AdSCSI and it works. Unfortunately - it does not work (as well as BlueSCSI) with the ICD Micro interface! Likewise, it doesn't work with my ICD Micro adaptation for Mega STe.

SCSIknife is now out!

Probably no support for disabling parity?

My version of ICD Micro has parity generator so this isn't an issue.
I suspect that there are some problems with the SCSI protocol in the ICD Micro that interfere with the operation of this interface. HDDriver sees ZuluSCSI partitions the first time, and after a second check it no longer sees them and any communication with the device is impossible. The log shows, of course, properly mounted HDD images. I gave up on ICD Micro - AdSCSI works instead without any problems :)
