Questions about STFM PSU recap kit

Post by danboid »

I'm paying someone to recap my STFM PSU because I don't trust myself at desoldering. They've been recapping Amigas for years but this is their first time working on an Atari so they're unsure about a few things:
The pack also contains 2 resistors. Reading the technical page, I believe these resistors replace R201 and R202. Do you want me to change these resistors for the ones in the recap pack?

I've replaced the main 4 pin rectifier.

There is also an additional 3 pin rectifier in the recap pack. I can't find any reference to this on the technical overview and also can't see it on the PCB board to be replaced so not sure what to do with this.

...

I found what looks like 3 pin rectifiers but there are 2 of them. One is Q101 and the other is marked D202.

The technical summary simply says to replace the HRW-34. I don't know which one this is as it doesn't give the component number.
The PSU is a SR98 and I've already sent him this link:

https://exxosforum.co.uk/atari/last/psu/index.htm#SR98

I gave him the SR98 recap kit recently purchased from the exxos store.

Anyone?

Thanks

The TO220 rectifier is on the low voltage side, on the right heatsink.

Thanks exxos.

How do we identify the HRW-34?

EDIT

Found it labelled here:
