In what system would you like to use it?

I’d like to try it in 3 different systems: a Mega ST, an original 520ST and a Phoenix H5 board.

It will fit in a Mega ST but I'm not sure it will fit in an original 520ST. It did fit under the keyboard but you have to remove the keyboard support. I didn't want to remove the support so it ended up in my Mega ST. I saw a picture of one fitted in an H5 so it should fit in there.

I can build one, but there are two issues:

• so far I made two but both have IDE issues. I'm not sure if it's the adapter or the CF-card I used. I didn't have time to investigate the issue further so I'm using an internal Satandisk and that is rock solid.

• the Xilinx CLPD is EOL and sold out at most reliable sources (Digikey, Mouser). I have to check but I might have a spare one.

Totally ok. I have a TF536 in both the Mega ST and 520ST (no internal PSU one).

I’m wanting to try the purpose designed ST version.

Out of curious, is there a difference in the TF536 in the ST and ST536 in the ST?

The ST536 has the TOS decoder and a TOD ROM build in. The IDE connection works in TOS. Also it has separate firmware driving the thing.

The TF536 with Atari firmware works great but does not have the built in TOS and decoder. The IDE functionality only works under EmuTOS (which is great too).

Hi, not sure if you are still interested…

I am planning to build another ST536 after my holidays (so in 3-4 weeks the earliest)
To save on postage at Mouser I have to source a few more components anyway, so I could build a second one…

But I am from Germany, so postage to UK (assuming you are from there) is not cheap…
And importing the parts (PCB, CPU, socket) from Exxos Shop to Germany also adds to the costs…

It is kind of ironic because on Thursday I just ordered all the parts to build one myself….or at least try.

That said, I would like to have two in the end so I am 100% interested!!
