Post by Dosfish »

Hi all, I was told on the Australian Vintage Computer Collectors Facebook group that you guys might be interested in a little project I've been working on.

Looks really good. I've got a big enough printer to print it in one piece vertically. But I think I'll need to create a removable structure around it so it doesn't fall over.

Looks great!

I like the broken-into-chunks approach for home printing.

Congratulations & thanks!

That would be a good basis to design a full box case without the keyboard and then use an external keyboard.

More room in the case for PiSTorm :-)

I think a replacement 3D printed case with a CPU/motherboard case and separate keyboard (like the DeskTopper, for example),
would be the "holy grail" of replacement desktops. :)

That is Fantastic! Kudos!

Can you share the source 3D file? I'm trying to get the 1040ST keyboard into separate chassis, because all of the addons just don't fit under the keyboard... Source file would help with cutting it as standalone cover and bottom should be easier to do.
